As TRAngels, we were awarded as Turkey’s most active angel investment fund at the “Value Adders of Kocaeli, the Center of Technology and Industry” ceremony.<\/p>

Under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, and in collaboration with Kocaeli Governorship, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, Kocaeli Chamber of Industry and Bili\u015fim Vadisi, the award ceremony of the Value Adders of Kocaeli, the center of Technology & Industry, ceremony took place with the attendance of H.E. Mr. President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan on the 6th<\/sup> of August.<\/p>

H.E. Mr. President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan awarded the technology, trade and finance companies that added value to Kocaeli, the industrial and technological capital with its 650 thousand employees and 18 billion dollars in exports.<\/p>

Receiving such an honor is an important reflection of the technological and innovative breakthroughs that our country is attempting to make in terms of investment. Start-ups, developing solutions for the future, puts deep technology at the heart of their business. Our goal as an angel investment network is to create more success stories from Turkey. Therefore, we proudly support investing in technology-oriented early-stage start-ups for our country’s social and economic development. As Trangels, we are excited to contribute to the expansion of this strategic value created in Kocaeli for the development of our country.<\/p>

We are supporting the growth of deep technology<\/h4>

Bili\u015fim Vadisi, which focuses primarily on civilian technologies, creates a new ecosystem with entrepreneurs from fields such as digitalization, software, and gaming. It is critical to consider deep technology as a new generation industrial product. In this technology corridor between \u0130stanbul, Kocaeli and \u0130zmir, there are 5 technology development centers named as T\u00dcB\u0130TAK Marmara Technocity (MARTEK), Gebze Organized Industrial Zone Technopark, Kocaeli University Technopark and Gebze Technical University Technopark.<\/p>

To summarize, there are various types of technological infrastructure and R&D, P&D environments that will help start-ups develop. As an active participant in the ecosystem, we will continue to offer not only our funds, but also our smart money generated by our knowledge, experience, and networks.<\/p>
